The Denim Project

Denim is one of the most labour intensive fabrics to make. It takes a lot of water and chemical dyes and treatments. It should be made to last a lifetime but often ends up in landfills.

This project was started as a way to keep denim out of landfills and give it a new purpose. Each bag is 100% unique and made from donated denim and cotton, sewn by a creative local. 

This collection was inspired by a patchwork-style denim jacket I thrifted and these bags can be used in any way you please: a grocery bag, a beach bag, a lunch bag, a purse, a work bag, the list goes on...
